Welcome to my blog. I'll be using this blog to keep my friends and family (and anyone else that stumbles across this) updated during my service as a Peace Corps Trainee and Volunteer in Ecuador. I'll be working in the Rural Public Health program as a Health Organization Development Volunteer. Who knows exactly what that will entail, but part of the adventure is finding that out! So welcome. Don´t judge... things I have changed in my life...
- I now eat meals with a spoon. All of them, because I only have one fork in my house.
- I now wear Crocks on a regular basis. Including to the office

- To talk to random strangers about whatever topic without fear
- To peel potatoes rapidly with a knife
- To cook. More than just random vegetables thrown in a pan
- A little bit of the Spanish language
- French-braid my hair
- Write left-handed

Not sure if you remember me or not but I interviewed you when you were simply going to be a PAGE in DC... I've followed you thru your mom ... and was so excited to read you in the P&D about your newest adventure. I just stopped into your mom's shop today (Aug 17) and met Julie too. And she gave me your blog. I will definately will be keeping up with you and your amazing new career :)
